Sunday Night and Serving

David started his weekend ministry yesterday and was assigned, much to his delight, to the new people and new christians ministry. I am going to help out with him too so basically what we get to do is help sett up a welcome lounge for new people, then mill around in the foyer while people are coming in and talk to them. After that we get to go to service and at the end when people raise their hands to respond to the gospel invitation we get to follow them out of the auditorium and get their details and give them a Bible. Pretty awesome! It will make us not be shy that's for sure and we'll get to talk to people who have just made a descion for Christ and encourage them. We then get to go back to the lounge and just talk to new people again and give them dougnuts and coffee. It should be fun!
Above you see some pictures of church on Sunday nights. It's huge! There are somewhere between 3,000 and 4,000 people each Sunday night for services. It's definately a mega church. This will be quite the year.
